Healthcare Global Enterprises Limited (HCG), India’s largest cancer care network, has announced the strategic acquisition of SRJ CBCC Cancer hospital in Indore. This acquisition marks HCG’s entrance into Madhya Pradesh, furthering its commitment to delivering high-quality cancer care across India. HCG also plans to expand the hospital by adding 100 beds and state-of-the-art cancer diagnostic and treatment facilities within two years to meet the region’s healthcare demands. This acquisition brings HCG’s network to a total of 21 comprehensive cancer centers, 24 hospitals across India and Africa, and 8 daycare centers.

SRJ CBCC Cancer Hospital is centrally located and is the city’s first comprehensive cancer Centre and is currently the market leader in private space. The hospital has 50 Cancer Care beds and houses state-of-the-art LINAC machine. The acquisition also unlocks opportunities for operational scale-up, including the introduction of organ-specific practices and the introduction of next-gen cancer care technologies.

Mr. E P Sajit, Senior Vice President & Head, Water & Effluent Treatment IC of L&T Construction, is a Civil Engineer from Kerala University, an alumnus of Xavier Labour Research Institute Jamshedpur and also an Incorporated Engineer with Institute of Civil Engineers UK with IPMA Level D Certification. He has also successfully completed Advanced Management Program at INSEAD, France recently.

He joined the Company on 2nd September 1996. Having over 30 years of professional experience, he has worked across diversified business areas like Minerals & Metals, Water & Effluent Treatment including Marine Construction.

Mr. Gaurav Srivastava appointed as COO of Asian Energy Services Ltd

Nazara Technologies NODWIN Gaming’s Singapore arm acquires game marketing agency PublishMe

“NODWIN Gaming’s Singapore subsidiary, a key subsidiary of Nazara Technologies Ltd  and a leading gaming and esports media company in South Asia, has acquired PublishME for USD 2 million. The game marketing agency was purchased from its existing shareholders, Nazara Technologies Limited and Ozalp. This acquisition will strengthen NODWIN Gaming’s existing solutions for publishers and brands, as well as its global emerging market network.

The partnership aims to utilize TCS’ cloud, AI, and security solutions to ensure a smooth, secure and timely divestiture process for Asda.

TCS will also help Asda enhance its customer experience and innovation capabilities to retain its market share and pricing leadership.

L&T Wins (Significant) Order for its Power Business

The Power business arm of Larsen & Toubro (L&T Energy – Power) has secured Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) order from West Bengal Power Development Corporation Limited to set up wet Flue Gas Desulphurization (FGD) systems for its Thermal Power Plant at Sagardighi in the state of West Bengal.

The project’s unique features include three FGD absorbers catering to four thermal power units (2×300 MW, 2×500 MW) while balance of plant systems to be installed shall cater to five units of the plant. For L&T, this will be the first FGD project from a state-owned power utility.

Installation of FGD systems in existing and upcoming thermal power plants has been made mandatory by Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Government of India, to curtail SO2 emissions.

With this order, L&T is poised to install FGD projects for thermal plants totaling more than 19 GW, actively contributing to GoI’s initiative of reducing SO2 emissions.
