Delhivery, AWS, and Nexus Ventures team up to launch Velocity accelerator program for logistics startups

Delhivery, the largest fully integrated logistics services provider in India, has teamed up with Nexus Ventures and Amazon Web Services (AWS) to launch Velocity, a six-week startup accelerator program aimed at empowering the next generation of innovators in the logistics industry. The first edition of the program commenced in August 2023 and involved over 15 sessions led by financial and sectoral experts, including Vibhor Jain, Rohit Kapoor, and Naman Jain, providing mentorship to 20 early-stage startups, selected from 234 applicants. The cohort included startups from various sectors, such as warehousing-focused ODWEN,

● EV fleet providers, including EVIFY and Zyngo
● Agritech startups such as Upjao Agrotech and E Sandhai
● Aggregator platforms Paapos, Hyphen SCS, and Loadexx, among others

The program provided startups with practical advice on topics such as fundraising strategies, growth hacking, profitability, and people & culture. Each startup received AWS Activate Credits worth $25,000, which can be used to access AWS cloud services for building and scaling their technology infrastructure without incurring high upfront costs. The startups also presented their solutions to VCs and influential superangels.

Zen Technologies Limited wins Ministry of Defence contract for 1,467.32 Cr amount

In continuation to our intimation submitted to the stock exchanges on 22 September 2023, Zen Technologies Limited, a leading provider of military training and counter-drone solutions, is pleased to provide further details on landmark order win, received on September 22, 2023, from the Ministry of Defence, Government of India. Valued at approximately ₹227.65 crores, inclusive of GST, the domestic order is for the supply of Anti-Drone systems. Zen was the resultant single vendor for this Anti-Drone systems order. Built into the contract is Comprehensive Maintenance Contract (CMC) post-warranty, at a cost of ₹43.22 crores, inclusive of GST.
