Godrej Properties acquires 109 acres land parcel in Nagpur
The project will have an estimated saleable area of ~2.2 million square feet
Godrej Properties Ltd. (GPL), a prominent real estate developer in India, announced today that it has acquired a land parcel of approximately 109 acres in Nagpur. The development of this land will mainly consist of plotted residential units and is expected to offer a saleable area of around 2.2 million square feet.
The land is strategically located near Samrudhhi Mahamarg, an expressway that connects Mumbai and Nagpur, as well as MIHAN SEZ. It is also conveniently connected to the Mumbai-Kolkata highway and the Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport in Nagpur.
The location boasts a well-developed social and municipal infrastructure, including hospitals, schools, retail, and entertainment venues.

L&T Construction secures (Mega) order for its Heavy Civil Business
L&T Construction’s Heavy Civil Infrastructure division has secured a massive contract from the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) to construct an underground road tunnel project that will connect Orange Gate in the Eastern Free Way to Marine Drive Coastal Road in Mumbai.
The project includes the design and construction of twin tunnels using Tunnel Boring Machines (TBMs), transition ramps connecting these tunnels to the existing elevated Eastern Freeway at Orange Gate, and the Marine Drive. The project is set to be completed within 54 months and will primarily run beneath the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Road.
This project is in line with L&T’s strategic objectives of enhancing its capability to build faster and more reliable mass transit systems.a
