This partnership will prominently feature Kingfisher’s name and logo on the pendant of the FC Goa shirt throughout the upcoming season. Hero Indian Super League History
The Hero Indian Super League (ISL) is a professional football league in India. It was founded in 2013 as an effort to boost football in the country and has since grown to become one of the top football leagues in India.
The league is organized by the Football Sports Development Limited (FSDL) and is officially known as the Hero Indian Super League due to the title sponsorship by Hero MotoCorp.
The league features teams from different cities across India, with each team being composed of both domestic and international players. The league typically runs from October to March and follows a round-robin format, with the top four teams advancing to the playoffs.
The league has helped to raise the profile of football in India and has attracted some top international players, including former Manchester United striker Dimitar Berbatov and former Liverpool defender John Arne Riise.
